MOT Test Centre Management IMI Level 3

The MOT Test Centre Management course has been developed to give learners the knowledge and skills required to manage an MOT Vehicle Test Station (VTS) and is of interest to those individuals wishing to set up an MOT Testing Station or who may already be an MOT Tester and wish to advance their career.

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification and training takes place in our centre in Norwich, Norfolk with an ex-DVSA trainer.

The course includes:

• Managing the legislative and compliance requirements of an MOT Test Centre or Vehicle Testing Station
• Dealing with customer service problems and complaints
• Developing and supervising staff within a test centre
• Test centre quality systems and audits

The qualification is subject to an externally set and marked online test delivered through the IMI.  The test has 35 questions and must be completed within 75 minutes. It will span the breadth of the content for each of the units.
